A Full Circle Journey with Way to Grow: Ariana Rodriguez’s Inspiring Story
Meet Ariana Rodriguez, an incredible testament to the quality and impact of the Way to Grow Child Care Learning Center. Ariana’s journey with us began in 2003 as an infant in our care. With her bright blue eyes and sweet disposition, she quickly became a favorite among our staff.
Ariana thrived at Way to Grow, graduating from our pre-k program and moving on to kindergarten with a solid foundation. Fast forward to last year, she walked through our doors again, this time with a pre-k graduation picture on her phone, asking for a job. We didn’t hesitate to hire her, and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. Ariana brought kindness, compassion, and deep understanding of young children back to Way to Grow, making her a beloved employee and coworker.
Now, Ariana is embarking on her next adventure, having recently graduated from Iona University with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education. She is moving to Louisiana to teach her very own first-grade class. We couldn’t be prouder of Ariana’s hard work, bright spirit, and dedication to impacting children’s lives.
Ariana’s story is a beautiful example of the lifelong impact Way to Grow has on its students. From infant to preschool teacher at our center, and now a full-time teacher, Ariana embodies the values and quality of care that Way to Grow stands for. We wish her a bright and prosperous future, knowing she will continue to shine and inspire many children along the way.
Affordable and accessible child care is a critical issue facing families, communities, and the workforce. Recognizing that child care is not just a women’s issue, the Governor assembled the Child Care Availability Task Force because it is a societal and economic issue that touches every family, in every community, regardless of neighborhood or economic status. We urge you to review this report to find out ways you can best access the state’s child care system.
